Rooted Resilience: Grow Strong, Stay Grounded!

Apr 25, 2024
A beautiful, large tree with thick roots spread out on the ground on a hillside.

Have you ever been distracted by a worrisome life situation, and accidentally set a glass down too close to the edge of a table and it falls and breaks? Or knock your elbow on the door frame? Or walk out the front door without your keys?

This is you being ungrounded.

Being grounded is the opposite: present, calm, and not distracted.

But how do you get there? Since likely you were not taught the basic life skill of grounding (almost no one does), it probably seems kind of random.

That’s too bad, because it’s not hard to learn how to be grounded, and life generally goes a lot more smoothly when you know how to do this.

It’s as fundamental as brushing your teeth and tying your shoes.

This is why I am once again offering the Rooted Resilience: Mastering Grounding Practices for Greater Stability and Presence workshop.

So you can learn to be grounded. Which means a calmer nervous system, better focus, more peace, and fewer accidents.

This two-hour Zoom class will meet on Sat May 4 from 10 am - noon, and is a fun mix of interesting discussion and relaxing guided visualizations.

You’ll come away with a better understanding of this basic life skill and lots of tools to put to use right away!
